Why A Custom Site? |

Often in the
midst of a rush to promote a new service
many people will shout "We just need
something!" and before they know it they
have branded their company with an image
that is often the wrong size, shape, and
color. Thisnew quick-fix company image,
produced by an associate or worse, their
kid) is sending the wrong message to clients
and is an eye sore to associates.
Within the dark corners your office you hide
because you can't stand to look
at it in full light.
When it comes to promoting or branding your
company please, please, don't do it
yourself.
Creating a company logo or business card is
not the same as building a bookcase over the
weekend (and even that is hard, I've tried).
The amount of money you think you will waist
hiring a professional will only cost you
potential income from deterring potential
customers with an image that doesn't
maximize your potential.
We don't want you to waist your money. So
how do I get the most bang for your buck?
Just with anything else, ask questions? A
key piece of knowledge is knowing the
difference between a graphic designer, a web
designer and a web developer.
• a graphic designer is an artist that has
studied typography, color theory, and layout
principles. Some may have a specialty
(logos, ad design, business
cards/stationary, etc.)
• a web designer designs the look of the
entire website
• a web developer makes sure everything
works properly and efficiently
Feel free to ask these people questions?
Most will answer a few for free. However if
you find yourself asking them many question
that is when you know you shouldn't do it
yourself!
